Designtree was founded by art director Dorien Franken in 2004. Aside from Designtree, Dorien founded The Folks Magazine, an online interview platform with a mission to bring meaningful content that inspires creativity and encourage daring. In 2017 she also co-founded Added Value, a diversity and inclusion magazine that helps companies make their workforce more diverse.
